Jesus Christ

Jesus is the Lord of all creation. He is the eternal Son of God, through whom all things were made. Out of boundless love, He stepped into our world, taking on human flesh to bring us into God’s family.

John 1:1–3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

He lived a life of perfect righteousness. Jesus revealed the very heart of the Father in everything He said and did. Then, on the cross, He bore the weight of our sin taking upon Himself our punishment.

John 14:9Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?2 Corinthians 5:21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

By His death, Jesus opened the way to forgiveness and peace with God. And by His resurrection, He broke the power of death itself. Jesus publicly disarmed and shamed the spiritual powers and authorities, showing His absolute victory over every evil rebellion. Every enemy, visible and invisible, is under His feet.

Romans 5:10For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. Romans 6:9–10We know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him. For the death he died he died to sin, once for all, but the life he lives he lives to God.Colossians 2:15He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him.Ephesians 1:22And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church.

He is exalted. Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords. He reigns with power, wisdom, and unending compassion.

Philippians 2:9–11Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.Revelation 19:16On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords.

Jesus brought us into God’s own family. We are adopted as God’s sons and daughters, with full rights as beloved children and heirs of His eternal Kingdom.

Romans 8:15–17For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, 'Abba! Father!' The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.

Jesus sent His Spirit to dwell within His people, to strengthen us when we are weak, to comfort us in our sorrow, and to guide us into truth, every day. Through the Holy Spirit, His presence is not distant but alive in us.

John 14:16–17And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.Romans 8:9–11You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

And one day, He will return in glory. He will make all things new, wipe away our every tear, and live forever with His redeemed.

Revelation 21:3–5And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, 'Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.' And he who was seated on the throne said, 'Behold, I am making all things new.' Also he said, 'Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.'

Christ Jesus is the Lord — risen, reigning, and mighty to save! And now, His gift of new and everlasting life is open to all who believe. Will you follow him?

John 3:16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 6:37All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.
